Thank you for considering becoming a member of DBSA Revere. The single greatest benefit is knowing that you are helping to support others in the community who are struggling with mental health challenges.
As a 501c3 non-profit, DBSA Revere seeks to provide regular and ongoing assistance through our WEEKLY SUPPORT MEETINGS. Presently, meetings are held Tuesday evenings via ZOOM and we look forward to the day when we can meet in person again.
Our expenses are modest and by becoming a member you can help to support the organization. Ongoing costs include the following:
- As mentioned, we host weekly meetings through ZOOM.
- We maintain a WORDPRESS website, hosted by DREAMHOST, that provides information about the group, its weekly meetings, curated articles & resources that members have found helpful as well as Crisis Support contact information, and extensive information on local Partial Hospitalization Programs. The website was built and is maintained by volunteers.
- We offer WEEKLY MEETING REMINDERS that anyone can subscribe to via email using GAGGLE’s email distribution service. The weekly reminders are sent by volunteers
- Additionally, we print FLYERS and BUSINESS CARDS for members who go out into the community, usually presenting to Partial Hospitalization Programs, to make others aware that our support group is available on their road to mental wellness. We use VISTAPRINT for printing and flyers and business cards have been designed by volunteers.
We hope you will agree that our modest organization is worthy of your financial support. It seems like everyone is asking for money nowadays and there are so many, many worthwhile causes. As you can see, in an effort towards transparency, we don’t need a lot of money so whatever you can spare is certainly valued very highly.
